Say It In Song creates personalised songs from the stories, memories and creative direction supplied by our customers.

We are based on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.

Your Personalised Song begins with a Story Call with Peter, the Creative Storyteller behind Say It In Song.

Peter uses that conversation to understand the people, memories, moments, emotional direction and musical preferences behind your song.

Your order includes the products and services displayed and selected at checkout.

Where the Personalised Song product states that two versions are included, both versions use the personalised story/lyrics and are delivered in different musical styles.

Creating a personalised song involves creative judgement and interpretation.

Musical style, voices, arrangement, phrasing and production may differ from what you initially imagined.

Say It In Song combines human storytelling and creative direction with modern technology, including AI-assisted music tools, as part of the production process.

Peter does not represent that he personally performs every vocal or musical instrument heard in the finished song.

Story Calls are approximately 30 minutes and are booked from the available times shown after an eligible order is confirmed.

Peter will call the telephone number supplied with the order at the booked time.

Please make reasonable efforts to be available and prepared for your Story Call. If you need to move your booking, use the available rescheduling process where possible.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for identifying any details that are particularly important to your song.

When you provide photographs, stories, names, images or other material, you confirm that you have the right or appropriate permission to provide that material and allow us to use it for the purpose of creating and fulfilling your order.

You must not knowingly provide unlawful, infringing or improperly obtained material.

Standard Personalised Song creation is targeted at approximately 3–5 business days following your Story Call.

Where Rush Creation has been purchased and accepted, the target is approximately 1–2 business days following your Story Call.

These are production targets rather than absolute guarantees. We will make reasonable efforts to meet them and will contact you if a material delay occurs.

Finished songs are supplied digitally in the formats described with your order.

You are responsible for downloading and safely storing your completed files after delivery.

Say It In Song does not guarantee permanent or indefinite storage of completed songs, videos, project files or other digital material.

We want your song to be listened to, shared and treasured.

You may download and keep your delivered song and use it for personal, non-commercial purposes, including:

• sharing it privately with family and friends;
• playing it at personal celebrations, weddings, birthdays, memorials and similar events; and
• sharing it through your personal social-media accounts.

Unless separately agreed in writing, you may not sell, sublicense, commercially distribute, commercially release, monetise or use the song in advertising, paid promotion or another commercial activity.

Purchase of a Personalised Song does not transfer ownership of any underlying technology, software, models, production systems or third-party rights used as part of its creation.

If you would like to discuss commercial use, please contact us before using the song for that purpose.

Say It In Song does not automatically acquire permission to publicly feature your story, song, photographs or personal material simply because you place an order.

If we would like to use your creation in Hear the Songs, social media, advertising, promotional material or another public showcase, we will seek separate permission.

If your Personalised Song hasn’t quite landed the way you hoped, contact us within 30 days of first delivery.

Peter will work with you through one consolidated change round to better capture the story, feeling or musical direction you were hoping for.

If, after that change round, you’re still not happy with the Personalised Song, our voluntary 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee may provide a refund of the amount paid for the Personalised Song component.

Keepsakes, Personalised Videos to Your Song and Rush Creation are subject to the conditions explained in our Refund Policy & 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

This voluntary guarantee is additional to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Physical keepsakes are personalised and created specifically for each order.

FREE Express Post is currently included for eligible physical products delivered within Australia.

Customers outside Australia should contact us before ordering a physical keepsake so delivery arrangements and any additional cost can be discussed.

Delivery times after dispatch may depend on the delivery provider and destination.

Where a Personalised Video to Your Song is purchased, you are responsible for supplying suitable photographs or images for inclusion.

By supplying them, you confirm you have the necessary right or permission for us to use them in creating your video.

Prices are displayed in Australian dollars unless otherwise stated.

The amount shown as your final total at checkout is the amount payable, subject to any valid promotional discount.

Promotional codes may be subject to start and expiry dates, minimum spends, usage limits and restrictions on which products they apply to.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, only one promotional code may be used per order and codes cannot be combined.

A promotional offer may end when its stated redemption limit is reached.

A valid promotion may occasionally reduce an order to $0. In that case no payment is required, but the order remains subject to these Terms & Conditions.

Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.

Card payments are processed by Stripe. Other payment providers, including PayPal, may be made available.

An order requiring payment is not confirmed until the payment has been successfully verified.

Because our products and services are personalised, cancellation and refund arrangements depend on whether personalised work or production has begun.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Our goods and services come with rights and guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded by these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify those rights or remedies.

We may reasonably update, improve or change the website, products, availability or creative process from time to time.

We do not guarantee that the website or every online feature will always be available without interruption.

Changes will not remove rights already attached to an existing confirmed order.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Queensland, Australia.
